The pic on the left shows the stages of tracing the technique used in Flash. Because of the digital nature of the final product, an almost infinite variations of changes can be made to the digital drawing. This I find both intellectually exciting and sometimes emotionally dull. Any comments from anyone?

Very interesting - how long does it take you to get to the final stage?
I wonder whether you could take several photos of yourself making faces or talking with emphasised expressions then make a digital drawing of each one and then put them together to make an animated face?
I like that idea. You could take it further - you could morph your face into someone else, your mother or father perhaps - someone with enough similarity to make the change less conspicuous?
Your email address is bouncing back????
Anyway here is the message...
MA Drawing as Process
Dear All
Hope CCOD is going well, some interesting developments with your blogs.
I have your mentors set up, so I thought we could meet in the MA DAP studio on Wednesday 29th March, 10.30am to instigate this.
We will probably only need 30mins.
See you then
Amanda
Fascinating idea Lynda. I have seen examples of this at the Science Museum. Soething I would like to explore. However the technology does take some time to master to achieve the effects I would like. (Watch this space!)
